Overview

Any change in production capacity, product mix, manufacturing process, raw materials, pollution control systems, or plant layout requires an amendment to your existing Consent to Establish (CTE) or Consent to Operate/Consolidated Consent & Authorization (CCA) issued by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB). Implementing such changes without prior approval is considered a violation of consent conditions and may result in regulatory action.

Our Process

  1. Assessment of the proposed changes against the existing consent conditions to identify amendment requirements.
  2. Preparation of the amendment application with updated manufacturing process details, production capacity, and revised pollution control measures.
  3. Online filing of the amendment application on the GPCB portal along with all supporting technical documents.
  4. Coordination with GPCB for document verification, site inspection (where applicable), and grant of the amended consent.

Documents Typically Required

  • Copy of existing CTE/CCA/CTO
  • Details of proposed changes in capacity, products, or manufacturing process
  • Revised process flow chart and plant layout
  • Details of updated pollution control equipment and environmental safeguards
  • Supporting technical documents and revised project information

Why It Matters Keeping your consent conditions updated ensures continuous compliance with GPCB regulations, protects your business from show-cause notices, penalties, and operational disruptions, and allows your facility to expand or modify operations without regulatory risk.
